I’m Jake Cammarata, a Long Beach, California based sports photographer with a passion for capturing the energy and emotion of competition. Driven by this passion, I was honored to receive a Taco Bell scholarship, which has allowed me to connect with inspiring mentors and scholars around the world.

Growing up in Long Beach and competing as a NCAA golfer, I’ve experienced firsthand the dedication and intensity that define athletes at every level. That perspective shapes the way I shoot, focusing not just on the action, but on the emotion and identity behind every moment.

From local CIF events to NCAA championships, I aim to highlight the stories that make sports meaningful, on and off the field. My work has been featured with The562, where I’ve had the opportunity to showcase the athletes and communities that make Long Beach’s sports culture so special.

With skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, I’ve created digital content that has generated millions of impressions on Instagram. My clients include UCLA Athletics, University of Georgia Athletics, The562.org, and The College of Wooster, and my work has also been featured by HD Volleyball, the NCAC, and the Grunion Gazette.
